New start

well my dears, work looms ever nearer and nearer. my first shift is thursday morning. i work all the way till next tue, then i have 2 days off. i am trying to figure out if i am nervous or not. i think i get more and more apprehensive the closer i get. i do just want to start, but i also want to be finished already. so in one sense time is going rather quickly and yet not fast enough. neways, i am sure i will write at some point next week to keep yall up to date, but who knows i may need to vent. anything can happen, and it probably will.

on the weekend i went to a BBQ for my friend Thiery's b-day. it was really good, chillin fun..:) she had great food and good people. it ended up being a busy saturday as i also had another BBQ at home and another b-day party at Philippa's house. even though it was busy, i am glad that i made to effort to go to all of them. i guess considering that i am working the first 2 weeks of April and missing 2 B-day picnics in the process. it was good to get to go to some things. i guess that is the life of a shift worker though. we do miss some important things. i am gutted that i am missing Leon's b-day though, i'll have to make it up to him. get him a big present. at least one that a one year old will appreciate.

on the other hand i am preparing for my parents and my aunts visit. they are coming at the end of the month for graduation and i am excited about that. i guess i am also excited about actually working as a doctor, its been a long time in coming.......

Addendum: one of my housemates is really pissing me off, self absorption and immaturity in how she is dealing with tension in the house is simply annoying me. its not looking good people....
