American Idol Sings Song by Darls

this past week American idol closed their show, Idol gives back, by singing 'Shout to the Lord' by Darlene Zschech, Worship pastor at my church. the song was from our 2000 album i think. how cool was that. of course it was an edited version, shortened and they took the name of Jesus out of the first line. i didn't catch it at first, i just thought that something wasn't right with what they sang....lol... watched it again and started to sing it and caught it then. it just doesn't have the same ring without it....lol
