I PASSED and now i look like this.....

well folks, i know i have neglected you big time and i do apologize. the last few weeks have been hectic to say the least. it has left me looking like this. now i just want to say that if ANYONE, EVER wanted to accuse me of vanity, then this picture proves them wrong. newyays, today was the climax or should i say anticlimax for a busy 3 or so weeks. i guess i'll start backwards.

today i had my Psychological and addiction medicine final exam. i really had such a peace about it. i spent 3 days studying for it because the week before i was busy both with attending hospital and Hillsong conference. the peace was divine and the exam was fine, and thank goodness that in psych we find out on the same day, which i just did and viola, i passed. so thank you Jesus.

on monday i went to the gaol here, as i am doing forensic psych. that was very very interesting. after we did an assessment on someone who we did not end up accepting in the unit, because he had antisocial personality disorder, and would have been disruptive to the other patients, we got a tour of the prison. those cells are small and so cold, the system so regimented, the guards so strict. the layout of the prison reminded me of the TV show OZ. HBO got it right, the cells do look like that, the layout etc. we also got a look at the suicide cells. thats where inmates on suicide watch reside. they have transparent doors and 2 video cameras in each cell. it was stuffy and smelled like how the rat cages in the research lab smelled. neways it was interesting to see. and made me never want to be imprisoned or see someone in my family imprisoned. it was very clean though, i will tell you that, which is different from gaols in JA.

so the weeks before this, was preparation for hillsong conference and finally hillsong conference 2007, frome 2-7th July. it was amazing, god was amazing. he really sustained us, and spoke to us. all the speakers were great. i especially liked Jensen Franklin and Bishop TD Jakes. working with everyone to help bring forth almost 2000 child sponsorships and over 3000 people going through and experiencing the lives of under privileged children forced into either prostitution, child workers or living on the street, was amazing. so it was a good, tiring, but very good time.

and i truly think that because i was faithful in my time and the giving of it helping at conference and with compassion as well as not slacking in the work that i had to do at hospital, that god was faithful and i passed my exam. you should have seen me training it from olympic park to hospital everyday, back and forth. i did my long case that week. Neways, its done, over andi have a weeks break before Obs and Gyne. catch you all later.....
