So i have been back in Aussie land for about 2-3 weeks now and have been so flat out that i have not had any time to write. i am actually fitting this in before i head to bed. i have about 10 min to write as i have to make my bedtime. that is if i want to be at least semi conscious tomorrow morning for work...lol.
the end of the greece trip was good, although we did have some trouble leaving santorini, as there was a strike in Athens and there was no flights in or out of the island. so we were delayed a day. i did make my flight out of athens but it just made the return leg of the trip just a tad hectic. it was all good though, and i came back and was at work the next day. i'm back in ED. yup, back to shifts. i tell you i don't mind the actual work, infact i really do like/enjoy it. however i do hate the shift work. it makes life hard to plan and makes me even more tired i find, causeeven on my down days there isn't enough recovery time. Neways enough about work...
I came back to the chaos of Peta moving out and my new flatmate, EJ, moving in and all the drama and stress that is invovled with moving and rearranging/ taking over a house. it is crazy man, and you know i can't function with too much mess. well for about 2 weeks or so my house was unrecognizable, everything was on top of everything else, 2 couches, beds being moved in and out, too much for my poor head. i must say i was pretty calm through it all, that was a miracle and i thank the lord for that. i really didn't want my divorce from Peta to be mess, and it was quite good. she was great to live with so after 3 years it was sad to see her go. she is close though, and her place is quite cool. i also got the big room now, so it all works out. now all i have to do is finish getting everything for the room. i need another bookcase, as since i lost alot of storage from my old room, i need someplace for my books....lol... i know i know books are one of my weaknesses and you know i can't give any away cause i am creating my library. lord help me if i decide to leave here and move somewhere else.... the move would be very expensive.
ooops my time is up, i was gonna tell you about the RMO dinner i went to, but i think i'll just post a pic. i was looking HOOOOOOT!!! my next post will be pics of Greece. i'll post one now as a taste.... heaps of Love, till next i have a break....
